March for The Arts

Let us all stand together across the creative and arts community to march through the streets of Liverpool and rally together. Six months into lockdown and our industry lies in ruins. The support we have had from the government is welcome but we can see now that it is not enough. This protest was postponed when the 1.57bn was announced to give time for this to be distributed. Three months later; the rescue package hasn’t been delivered, furlough is ending; SEISS is ending; and organisation remain closed. Now is the time to come together and stand up for ourselves and our Art.

Come in costume, bring your instruments, wear your blacks, bring your puppets, bang your drums, dance your way there. Show your Art.

If you are part of a group, company, organisation, choir, orchestra, troupe, or collective and would like to officially register to march as a group please get in touch: info@marchforthearts.com
