They Did Berserk Dirty with This Twitch Drop

Man, this one hurts.

When I heard Diablo 4 items was doing a Berserk crossover, I thought, “Finally, Guts gets the respect he deserves.” But locking it behind Twitch and a sub paywall? C’mon Blizzard. This is Berserk we’re talking about—not some throwaway anime skin.

The Twitch Drop requires you to watch 4 hours of specific streamers (which isn’t awful), but then you have to GIFT 2 subs. That’s not just watching—it’s buying your way in. I get Twitch integration, but this feels like a money grab more than fan service.

Berserk is sacred to a lot of us. Miura’s legacy deserves better than being used as bait for monetization. Imagine if the Dragonslayer skin was in a free seasonal event—people would grind the hell out of that! Instead, Blizzard took the easy way out.

I’m not trying to gatekeep, but there are fans who can’t just drop cash on subs. And if you’re international or on a tight budget? Too bad. No Guts for you.

It’s disheartening to see something this cool turned into a pay-to-earn situation. I’m not saying boycotts or anything, but we should push back. If we keep letting companies do this, it becomes the new normal.

Anyone else buy diablo 4 items frustrated?
