How to install INPA BMW software in Polish on Windows 7/8/10

INPA is a program that allows you to diagnose and modify the systems and components of BMW cars, such as reading and clearing engine errors and lights, airbags, ABS, radio, odometer, climate control, TV, navigation, ASC, DSC, lights, immo. It also works with NCS program to change the settings of all modules and activate hidden functions like daytime running lights, xenon adjustment, automatic closing of windows, door locking, unit conversion (e.g. MILE to KM), retrofitting, PDC (parking assistant) settings and many other interesting and useful features.

To install INPA BMW software in Polish on Windows 7/8/10, you will need a computer with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, WinRAR (download) and at least 10 GB of free disk space. You will also need an interface cable like BMW K+DCAN to connect your car to the computer. The installation process consists of four simple steps that you need to follow according to the instructions below. This will ensure the success of the operation and the proper functioning of the programs.

Download the files

Download the program files and the selected SPDaten updates from the links below;

Create a folder with any name on your desktop and extract the downloaded .rar packages to it;

Installation

Go to the folder where you extracted the downloaded files and go to the Inpa 5.06 F directory;

Right-click on Setup.exe > Properties > Compatibility tab. Check the box \"Run this program in compatibility mode with\". Leave the option suggested by the system and save the changes by clicking on Apply and Ok;

Right-click again on Setup.exe > Run as administrator. This will start the actual installation of the software;

Select your preferred language and click OK;

Configuration

After installation, go to C:\\EDIABAS\\BIN folder and find OBD.ini file. Right-click on it > Properties > Compatibility tab. Check the box \"Run this program as an administrator\" and save the changes by clicking on Apply and Ok;

Open OBD.ini file with Notepad or any other text editor and change the line \"Port=Com1\" to \"Port=ComX\", where X is the number of your interface cable port. You can check it in Device Manager > Ports (COM & LPT);

Save and close OBD.ini file;

Go to C:\\EC-APPS\\INPA\\CFGDAT folder and find INPA.ini file. Open it with Notepad or any other text editor and change the line \"LANGUAGE=GERMAN\" to \"LANGUAGE=POLISH\";

Save and close INPA.ini file;

Update

If you want to use NCS Expert program for coding, you will need to update the SPDaten files for your car model. You can download them from the links below;

Extract the downloaded SPDaten files to a folder on your desktop;

Copy all files from C:\\SP-Daten-Exx\\SGDAT folder to C:\\NCSEXPER\\SGDAT folder;

Copy all files from C:\\SP-Daten-Exx\\ECU folder to C:\\EDIABAS\\ECU folder;

Run BMW Coding Tool v2.5.exe from C:\\SP-Daten-Exx folder and click on Update SP-Daten button. Select your car model from the list and click OK. Wait for the update process to finish;
